Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Becca Safavian stepped things up a notch to give Georgetown Visitation Prep the 'W'. Safavian went 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points and eight boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. We marked that as the best effort she's had all season, even better than her performance on December 4th, 2024 (when she posted six points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals) (Gamescore: 16.6 vs. 13.3).

Looking ahead, Safavian and Georgetown Visitation Prep won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Maret at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will pit Safavian up against the Frogs' star guard Nora Dowd. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
