Softball Game Preview: Freedom Patriots vs. East Rowan Mustangs

The Freedom Patriots will square off against the East Rowan Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Freedom has given up an average of 10.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Freedom came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Alexander Central, falling 17-0. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, East Rowan faced West Rowan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Mustangs took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

East Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.
