Soccer Game Preview: Meridian vs. Borah

Meridian is 0-9-1 against Borah since October of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Warriors will take on the Lions. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Meridian lost 4-1 to Bishop Kelly on Monday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Meridian were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Tanner Hislop, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Borah entered their tilt with Centennial on Monday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Borah's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Borah's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Meridian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1.

Meridian might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Borah in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
