Basketball Recap: Gaylord Comes Up Short

Gaylord lost against Marquette back in February of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gaylord Blue Devils took a blow against the Marquette Redmen, falling 61-34. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gaylord's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Marquette, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-13.

Gaylord does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marquette, they will take on Petoskey in a tournament on Wednesday. Marquette knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Petoskey likes a good challenge.
