Fredericktown was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Mt. Gilead on Wednesday. The Freddies blew past the Indians 13-4. The Freddies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Fredericktown's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Mt. Gilead, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredericktown will take on Columbus Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Gilead, they will challenge Crestline at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
