Volleyball Recap: Childress Comes Up Short

Childress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shamrock Irish. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Irish apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Childress' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Shamrock, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Coincidentally, Childress and Shamrock will both be playing Fort Elliott the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will host the Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Irish will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
