Tri-City Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Lidia Perez-Cardenas, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals, and Allison Phillips, who scored 8 points along with 12 rebounds and 6 steals. Phillips is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Annabelle Carnes was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
James Madison Preparatory School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tri-City Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
