Soccer Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Sussex Tech Ravens. The shutout was certainly out of character for Dover, seeing as the last time the team was held without a goal was September 9th.

Dover has now lost 11 of their last 12 games on the road. That's part of the reason why they have a 3-9-1 record this season. As for Sussex Tech, they have now won six of their last eight games at home. That's helped them to a 7-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover is set to challenge their familiar foe Cape Henlopen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sussex Tech will face off against their in-conference opponent Smyrna at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
