Basketball Recap: North Central's Losing Streak Snapped at 13 Games

North Central can bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 victory over the Buford Yellow Jackets. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellow Jackets, too.

When it comes to explaining why Buford lost, don't look at Jake Milhorn. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 31 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Milhorn a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Gage McManus, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.
