Westside gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Monday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Harrisburg Hornets. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.
 Westside was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (88-87), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 9-25,  28-26.
 Kirby Conrad paced Westside's offense, picking up 21 kills. Conrad got some help from  Mattyx Cureton and her 45 assists. Finally,  Kaydence Garland kept Westside's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
 Westside will hit the road for the first time this season to  square off against  Manila  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Harrisburg, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Wynne  at 7:00  p.m.  on September 2.
