Soccer Recap: Hardin-Jefferson Takes a Loss

Hardin-Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Lumberton Raiders, falling 6-1. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly five goals.

Hardin-Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Lumberton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Hardin-Jefferson has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 loss against Little Cypress-Mauriceville on the 11th. As for Lumberton, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Vidor on the 11th.
