Cannon is 10-0 against Charlotte Latin since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cannon Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Charlotte Latin Hawks at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Cannon against Charlotte Country Day School as the squad secured a 76-47 win. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Buccaneers are ranked 70th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Charlotte Latin came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-2 victory over Charlotte Christian. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-0.

Cannon's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Charlotte Latin, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Everything came up roses for Cannon against Charlotte Latin in their previous matchup last Wednesday, as the team secured a 64-31 win. In that matchup, Cannon amassed a halftime lead of 38-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
