Basketball Recap: Strasburg/Zeeland Takes a Loss

Strasburg/Zeeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Standing Rock Warriors 67-39. The Clippers lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 102-34 score last time.

Strasburg/Zeeland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Standing Rock, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Strasburg/Zeeland will challenge LaMoure/Litchville-Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Standing Rock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Flasher at 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday. Standing Rock knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Flasher likes a good challenge.
