Basketball Game Preview: Kearney Bulldogs vs. Maryville Spoofhounds

Kearney is 0-3 against Maryville since December of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Kearney Bulldogs will take on the Maryville Spoofhounds at 6:45 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Kearney was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-40 to Grandview.

Meanwhile, Maryville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 67-55 to Harlan.

Maryville's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Kearney, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.

Kearney ended up a good deal behind Maryville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, losing 62-47. Can Kearney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
