Santa Fe took down Los Alamos 62-30 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jordan Booth - Homer threw for 88 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 85 yards in the win.
The Demons led 4A District 2 in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the Hilltoppers. Booth - Homer in the win.
Santa Fe's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Anthony Abeyta chipped in 231 yards. Mario Holladay helped Santa Fe's passing attack out by catching one ball for 13 yards.
Daniel Jacquez was the best wideout in the league this week as Ray Holladay's team beat Los Alamos. Jacquez racked up two receptions for 57 yards.
Santa Fe's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Demons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Booth - Homer has thrown for 404 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Jacquez has eight catches for 233 yards. Abeyta leads the league in rushing with 1027 yards.
A big matchup in 4A District 2 this week will be when Espanola Valley takes on Garett Williams' team. The Sun Devils are currently in third, while the Hilltoppers are in first.
The Demons made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,378 from 9,764. The improvement came about via a 62-30 victory over Los Alamos last week.
