Softball Recap: Oscar Smith Takes a Loss

Oscar Smith lost against Maury back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers fell 12-7 to the Commodores. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oscar Smith's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Maury, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Oscar Smith didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 defeat against Deep Creek on the 24th. As for Maury, they will venture away from home to challenge Churchland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commodores' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Truckers have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
