Softball Recap: Kenwood Comes Up Short at Home Against Franklin

Kenwood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 19-7 to the Franklin Indians on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Zoey Lam was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Grace Davidson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Kenwood has already played their next contest, a 12-1 defeat against Parkville on the 24th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 18-0 win against Lansdowne on the 24th.
