Baseball Recap: Deridder Falls Short of Breaux Bridge in the Playoffs

DeRidder and Breaux Bridge squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but DeRidder had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

DeRidder has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-20 record this season. As for Breaux Bridge, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-11-1.

While DeRidder had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
