Football Recap: Jesuit Comes Up Short on the Road Against Woodcreek + How To Watch

Jesuit kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 38-13 to the Woodcreek Timberwolves. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2018.

Although Jesuit took the loss, they still got scores from Kwanna Smith and Rocco Lucchetti.

Woodcreek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Blake Hastings, who rushed for 86 yards and one TD. Those 86 rushing yards gave Hastings a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Melendez, who rushed for 50 yards and one score.

Looking ahead, Jesuit will face off against Rio Americano at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodcreek, they will venture away from home to square off against Whitney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
