Jackson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 14-11 win over the Medina Bees on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Polar Bears as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Jackson got a massive performance out of McKenzie Johnson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Johnson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Remi Grooms, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Jackson lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Jackson's win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Medina, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jackson beat the Bees by a score of 14-11 later that day.
