North Valleys is 9-1 against McQueen since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will look to defend their home pitch against the Lancers at 5:15 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Valleys came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to Sparks. While losing is never fun, North Valleys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Sparks are ranked second).

Meanwhile, McQueen fell victim to Reed and their airtight defense on Monday. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0.

North Valleys' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for McQueen, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

North Valleys came out on top in a nail-biter against McQueen in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
