Soccer Game Preview: Union Grove vs. DeForest

The Union Grove Broncos will square off against the DeForest Norskies on Thursday. Union Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Union Grove is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Milton a 6-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Rhyan Hood as she scored four goals for her team.

Meanwhile, DeForest hasn't lost a match since May 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Norskies who were credited with the victory. DeForest got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Waterford's four.

Union Grove is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those 11 contests. As for DeForest, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7-1.
