Volleyball Recap: Worthington Takes a Loss

Worthington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Mankato East Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Worthington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Mankato East, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Worthington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Southwest Minnesota Christian on the 16th. Mankato East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
