Norcom had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Norview Pilots 56-16. Given the Greyhounds' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Pilots are ranked 239th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norcom's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Norview, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Coming up, Norcom will venture away from home to take on Manor at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Manor will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Norcom surely won't give up without a fight. As for Norview, they will welcome Booker T. Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
