            Baseball Recap: Mt. Diablo Red Devils vs. Richmond Oilers        
        
		
        
        
            Mt. Diablo came into their game  on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against  the Richmond Oilers, falling  14-2. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Oilers earlier this season, when they won  13-11.
 Mt. Diablo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Anthony Scallin, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2.  Bryan Garcia Guzman also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
Mt. Diablo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Richmond,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at 12 games  and leaves them with a 3-12 record.
 Mt. Diablo has already played their next match,  a  29-4  loss against Vallejo on the 14th. As for Richmond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  1-0  win against Elite on the 11th.
