Pine Forest won the last time they faced Harnett Central and things went their way on Friday too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Pine Forest Trojans made off with a 55-54 victory over the Harnett Central Trojans.

Despite the loss, Harnett Central still got an impressive performance from Braydon Temple, who went 9 for 16 to rack up 20 points and six steals. Temple is becoming a predictor of Harnett Central's success: when he posts at least three steals the team is 7-3 (and 3-8 when he doesn't). DJ Brown was another key player, putting up nine points.

Pine Forest's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Harnett Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.
