Basketball Recap: Wright City's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Wright City extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Kase Lindly. The Wright City Lumberjax took down the Centerpoint Knights 67-52 on Saturday thanks in part to Lindly, who posted 22 points and five steals. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Wright City's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Centerpoint, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Wright City is taking a road trip to face off against Lone Grove at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Wright City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Lone Grove likes a good challenge. As for Centerpoint, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-30 defeat against Nashville on the 10th.
