Soccer Recap: Monarch Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Everglades, Monarch was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Deerfield Beach Bucks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

Kearstin Iadarola and Dalilah Alvarado-Nater scored all three of Monarch's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

The victory got Monarch back to even at 4-4-2. As for Deerfield Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monarch will venture away from home to square off against Miramar at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Deerfield Beach, they are taking a road trip to face off against Taravella at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
