Basketball Recap: Parsippany Hills Comes Up Short

If Parsippany Hills was riding high fresh off their 67-28 takedown of Somerset Tech last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Parsippany Hills Vikings fell 46-36 to the Hopatcong Chiefs on Saturday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Parsippany Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hopatcong, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Parsippany Hills will challenge Newton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Newton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hopatcong, they will take on Elmwood Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Elmwood Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
