Soccer Recap: New Bern Christian Academy Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, New Bern Christian Academy was not quite Gramercy Christian's equal in the second half on Thursday. They lost 9-2 to the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Gramercy Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in September.

New Bern Christian Academy now has a losing record of 6-7-2. As for Gramercy Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. New Bern Christian Academy will challenge rival Pamlico Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Gramercy Christian is set to take on their familiar foe Jacksonville Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
