St. David put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Duncan Wildkats 59-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

St. David had a senior duo take command as Cedar Haynie rushed for 92 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries and Chase Pacheco rushed for 57 yards and two scores. Pacheco also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making five total tackles (2.0 for loss).

One reason for the win was St. David's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Tot Pacheco and Haynie, who racked up five sacks between them. Pacheco has been hot for a while, having posted at least one sack the last ten times he's played. Haynie got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

St. David's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Duncan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, St. David is taking a road trip to square off against Salome at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Duncan, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dishchii'bikoh at 7:00 p.m.
