Football Recap: Trumbull Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Trumbull played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 35-13 to the Wilton Warriors. The Eagles were down 28-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Although Trumbull took the loss, they still got scores from Matthew Greene and Keane Horne.

Charlie Calabrese was nothing short of spectacular for Wilton: he rushed for 193 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Calabrese really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Trumbull's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wilton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Trumbull has already played their next matchup, a 26-14 defeat against Manchester on the 26th. As for Wilton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-21 win against Cheshire on the 26th.
