Softball Recap: Whiteford's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Whiteford waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northwood Rangers a 6-0 shutout. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Whiteford's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Northwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Coming up, Whiteford will take on Tecumseh at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwood, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Mary Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
