Basketball Recap: Thomas Nelson Comes Up Short

Thomas Nelson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 66-59 to the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles/Banshees this season, with their most recent loss being a 50-46 defeat last Thursday.

Thomas Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Bethlehem, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-10.

Looking ahead, Thomas Nelson will take on Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethlehem, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 78-71 win against W.E.B. DuBois Academy on the 15th.
