Soccer Game Preview: Chowchilla vs. Liberty

The Chowchilla Tribe will square off against the Liberty Hawks at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Chowchilla's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Chowchilla lost 4-1 to Caruthers on Friday.

Chowchilla's goal came courtesy of David Perez-Borges, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They never let Fresno Christian onto the board and left with a 4-0 win on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Chowchilla's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-3. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 5-10-3.
