Softball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. Kanab Cowboys

For the second straight game, Parowan will face off against Kanab. The Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Cowboys at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Parowan has given up an average of 16.3 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Parowan is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 17-13 win over Kanab on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

For Kanab's part, Marissa Jensen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Gracie Jensen was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Parowan's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-16. As for Kanab, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
