Baseball Recap: Walnut Grove Comes Up Short

Walnut Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Mater Dei Monarchs.

Walnut Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mater Dei, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Walnut Grove will face off against Alamo Heights at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mater Dei, they will venture away from home to take on Allen at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
