Soccer Recap: Calvary Christian Comes Up Short

Calvary Christian managed to slip by Carroll County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 6-1 to the Panthers on Thursday. Calvary Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carroll County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Calvary Christian and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Carroll County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will welcome Williamstown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carroll County, they will take on Gallatin County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Carroll County will be up against Gallatin County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.29 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
