Baseball Recap: Lyman Memorial Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Lyman Memorial's offense. They came up short against the St. Bernard Saints on Wednesday, falling 7-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 12-7 to the Saints when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Lyman Memorial and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for St. Bernard, their record now sits at 5-11.

Coming up, Lyman Memorial will challenge Griswold at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Bernard, they will take on Woodstock Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last five games the Centaurs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
