Remsen hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against the Brookfield Central Beavers by a score of 49-39 on Saturday. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Beavers, too.

Despite the loss, Brookfield Central still got an impressive performance from Travis Abrams, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Abrams a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan DiBrango, who posted six points in addition to nine rebounds and four blocks.

Remsen's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Brookfield Central, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road.

Remsen has already played their next match (against Poland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brookfield Central, they have already played their next contest, a 49-22 defeat against Cherry Valley-Springfield on the 10th.
