Anson and Chesterfield are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. Anson is taking a road trip to take on Chesterfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Anson is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Anson didn't have quite enough to beat Parkwood and fell 5-4.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Chesterfield sidestepped Andrew Jackson for a 7-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Rams.

Max Gulledge spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Brody Banasiewicz was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocket Watford, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 4-for-4.

Chesterfield now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Anson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Anson was able to grind out a solid victory over Chesterfield in their previous matchup last Wednesday, winning 7-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Anson since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
