Volleyball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Geauga Wolverines. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Trinity started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-14, 25-12, 25-11.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Geauga, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Trinity will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cuyahoga Heights at 6:00 p.m. As for West Geauga, they will head out to challenge Geneva at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
