Hebron is a perfect 9-0 against Tri-Township since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Hawks will square off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Hebron is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Highland just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 5-2 to the Trojans.

Marshall Hall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. Luke Charpentier was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple.

Meanwhile, Tri-Township fell victim to Boone Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Wolves. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Tri-Township's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hebron, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9-1.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Hebron has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Tri-Township struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Hebron came out on top in a nail-biter against Tri-Township when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
