Volleyball Recap: Dover-Eyota Comes Up Short

Dover-Eyota's tournament run continued when they took on Kasson-Mantorville on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Komets. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Shelby Clark paced Dover-Eyota's offense, picking up seven kills. Clark got some help from Lauren Peck and her 14 assists. Clark also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aubrey Foster, each putting up two.

Dover-Eyota's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Kasson-Mantorville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.

Dover-Eyota has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Lanesboro on the 4th. As for Kasson-Mantorville, they will be playing at home against Byron at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
