Football Recap: Mt. Eden Comes Up Short

Mt. Eden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Alameda Hornets, falling 40-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Monarchs of the 50-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

DANIEL FEBO threw for 65 yards and one touchdown. TAYLOR WILLIAMS was his top target, picking up 65 receiving yards and one score.

Mt. Eden's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Alameda, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Mt. Eden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-18 victory against San Lorenzo on the 24th. As for Alameda, they have also already played their next matchup, a 13-8 defeat against Arroyo on the 25th.
