Basketball Recap: John Paul II Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

John Paul II won the last time they faced The Christian School at Castle Hills, and Ella Garcia did her part to make sure it happened again. The John Paul II Centurions came out on top in a nail-biter against The Christian School at Castle Hills Eagles on Friday, sneaking past 57-55 thanks in part to Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played.

Callie Coleman was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.
