Monument Valley has gone 10-0 against Pinnacle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Monument Valley Cougars duke it out with the Pinnacle Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monument Valley will head into Wednesday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They lost 51-31 to Whitehorse. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 61-22 loss at the hands of Whitehorse.

Loss or not, Pinnacle got some senior leadership from Heather Kerr and Jostyn McLean. Kerr almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds, while McLean posted nine points and seven boards. That was a full 45.5% of Pinnacle's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Pinnacle's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Monument Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Monument Valley skirted past Pinnacle 39-36 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will Monument Valley repeat their success, or does Pinnacle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
