Basketball Recap: Carlisle Christian Academy Starts off Right with Win over Varsity Opponent

Carlisle Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 67-36. The Knights not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 17th (when they won 81-39).

Carlisle Christian Academy was led to victory by Parker Mathes and Brady Tuckey. Mathes posted 15 points, while Tuckey had 15 points. Those 15 points gave Mathes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Keller, who earned eight points.

Varsity Opponent has already played their next game (against Progreso), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Carlisle Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's matchup: after Varsity Opponent face off against Atlas Prep, they'll take on Carlisle Christian Academy again at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
