Troy had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the McGregor Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 22-3 win on Tuesday.

Troy's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for McGregor, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Troy will take on C.H. Yoe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McGregor, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
