Basketball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Comes Up Short

Archbishop Carroll lost against Our Lady of Good Counsel back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Archbishop Carroll Lions were beaten by the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons 52-18. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-11.

Archbishop Carroll dropped their record down to 1-16 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.

Archbishop Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-49 win against Friendship Collegiate Academy on the 5th. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, they will challenge Bishop O'Connell at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
